Tyler Blanton’s Hornē Electric Band

Tyler Blanton’s Hornē Electric Band is a modern mix of funk, soul, electronic and jazz elements, presented in a unique way. Rising star vibraphonist Tyler Blanton has become known in recent years for his work with top NY musicians such Donny McCaslin, Ari Hoenig, and Nate Wood. He has received press and features in Downbeat magazine, JazzTimes, Hot House, and the NY Times. An extension of earlier genre melding work of figures like Mike Manieri and Roy Ayers, Blanton’s unique concept integrates dance-able grooves, rich jazz harmonies, and the use of modern electronic soundscapes.

In NYC they have performed at Bitter End, Blue Note, Bar Lunatico, Barbes, The Living Room, Rockwood Music Hall, and maintain a residency at the iconic 55 Bar in the west village. They have also toured in Europe, Asia, and the US in various configurations.
