Jadakiss

Yonkers-raised Jason Phillips, known better by his stage name, the ubiquitously admired lyricist Jadakiss, is one of the greatest living names in hip hop. Having first tasted success as a member of The L.O.X., with Styles P and Sheek Louch, through their album Money, Power & Respect (featuring a #3-debut single on Billboard), Jadakiss was poised to breakout with a solo career. With his initial effort Kiss Tha Game Goodbye, Jadakiss established himself as a force in the rap game. His second record contained the much talked about “Why,” which would blow up to epic proportions and truly launch Jada into the upper echelon of hip hip. Showing zero signs of slowing down, he released his 4th effort Top 5 Dead or Alive in 2015, which solidified the fact the “the streets are his” (according to Rolling Stone). Over his 15 year reign, Jadakiss has collaborated with an accomplished litany of who’s who in the hip hop celebrity realm, including Diddy, Nas, Future, Wiz Khalifa, Ne-Yo and a vast crop of other top artists.
