Inky Jack

Join Brooklyn Independent Media for a live in-studio performance and interview with Brooklyn-based Inky Jack.

If RATATAT, TV On The Radio, and Fat Freddy’s Drop got together to jam on the moon…Meet Inky Jack – the future companion for alternative and experimental music fans.

From Brooklyn to outer-space and back, this two man madhouse take cues from rock, reggae, electronica and punk, creating a sound that’s not only utterly intoxicating, but utterly unique. After releasing their self-titled EP last year, Dipesh Sinha and Kwame Bulter have been garnering a reputation based on their total disregard for genres and their absolute dedication to authenticity. Their eclectic productions have bred the term darkwave dub rock and their attitude towards life and culture – and the machine – is ever present within their lyrics and productions.

B-Side, Brooklyn Independent Media’s live in-studio music series, features performances from emerging and established musicians on Thursday evenings. These performances are open to the public, however our studio space is limited.

Doors open at 7:30pm. Guests who would like to be part of the in-studio audience are encouraged to arrive early. Guests are also invited to watch a live simulcast from the BRIC House Stoop, right outside of the studio. Show starts around 7:45pm and it’s first come, first served.

Can’t make it to the show? B-Side airs live Thursdays at 8pm on Brooklyn Independent Media.
