Cake Shop Presents Bent Denim, SWEET BRONCO, Chomp, Nox Boys

Bent Denim

Bent Denim builds beautiful, narrative driven songs by swapping tracks over email between their respective home bases of
Nashville and New Orleans.

Sweet Bronco’s music incorporates a range of styles – mostly in the neighborhood of melodic psych bossgaze and 60s folk rock. They are a five piece band employing traditional 60s rock instruments like guitars and drums and organs and vocal chords.

Chomp is comprised of members of Cloud Nothings (Joe Boyer and Jayson Gerycz) and Total Babes (Chris Brown).

If listening to teenage rock bands too often brings to mind the adage about youth being wasted on the young, then the teenage rock bands you’re listening to aren’t the Nox Boys. The Pittsburgh garage-rockers bring a wild, youthful abandon together with big, sophisticated sounds. Recalling everything from ’60s originals like The Sonics and The Standells to the current crop of fuzz-rockers like The Black Lips and Broncho — and three of them are still in high school.
