They made a Christmas single for Sub Pop in 2008, and a collaborative improv record with new age o.g. Laraaji for RVNG in 2011, but they’re just as likely to write a song over a tape loop of SSD or BBD. Whatever they do, the operative word is psychedelic.” – Alan Smithee
Hex Message is Pascal Spengemann, Mike Bones, Abigail Portner, Andrew Kuo, Sasha Vine, and Daniel Hougland. They formed in Manhattan in 2007 and have played shows at the New Museum, PS1 and have gone on two east coast / midwest tours with Gang Gang Dance.
