A catchy Latin rhythm accompanied by a lively jazz piano is the signature sound that has earned Eddie Palmieri nine Grammy Awards. After fifty years and over forty albums, Palmieri has blazed a unique musical path, engaging audiences around the world. Along with his salsa/Latin jazz band, La Perfecta II, Palmieri’s original mix of players utilizes two trombones and a flute rather than the traditional trumpets commonly used in Caribbean salsa music.
