A Tony Award winner from the original cast of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls, R&B fixture Jennifer Holliday also won two Grammy Awards for her transcendent renditions of the Dreamgirls torch song “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” and the Duke Ellington classic “Come Sunday.” She appears at MetroTech bolstered by the “notoriously funky” (ABC) Uptown Horns, who have lent their tight, brassy punch to everyone from James Brown and R.E.M. to The Rolling Stones.
