Pape Diouf, who’s been dubbed “the future of Senegalese music” by the legendary Youssou N’Dour, has been making hit records since the mid-1990s. His dynamic music, which melds traditions of dance and mbalax, will be performed with his band La Génération Consciente in Marcus Garvey Park this August.
