Bazurto All Stars are groundbreaking pioneers of the Champeta style of music and dance, fusing Afro-Caribbean sounds with the upbeat African genres of Soukous and Rhumba. The band rose out of the Bazurto Market, the epicenter of Afro-Colombian culture in Cartagena, and has shared Champeta internationally, regularly touring the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Frontman Fredy Harel and the band are hyped to bring their high-energy stage show to NYC and honored to take part in Pride festivities at Lincoln Center.
