Philippa Thompson 9:00 PM
Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Philippa Thompson studied classical strings growing up in California, but before long she realized she was missing the best stuff–so she added folk and all kinds of other music to her life. Now she lives in Brooklyn and plays violin, viola, guitar, ukulele, musical saw, spoons, washboard and sings. On-going projects include the M Shanghai String Band (www.mshanghaistringband.com), Gloria Deluxe (www.gloridadeluxe.com), and the Ukuladies (www.theukuladies.com)

Ports of Call 10:00 PM
Ports of Call is Kristin Mueller (Caulfield Sisters, Gloria Deluxe, Lucinda Black Bear) showcasing her songwriting with accompaniment from various amazing musicians in the Brooklyn indie-americana scene – fine folks who have graced the stage with Mercury Rev, Wilco, Beth Orten, Sufjan Stevens the list goes on. As described by the Village Voice “Mueller’s fabulous songs vibe Cowboy Junkies and Calexico – with a beautiful voice and delicate thoughtful instrumentation, she invokes intimacy and elegance. Dig that banjo”

The Pinki Swears 11:00 PM
NYC duo Pinky Swearz met in NY and perform clever country favorites from John Prine to George Jones, deep cuts & favorites from all eras of American rock and roll. Their spirited vocal chemistry was pure luck but their hard work comes out in passionate and dedicated interpretations.
